i recently got a 2nd male rabbit
he's not fixed yet and my current rabbit is too old to be fixed
i wanted to start getting them used to each others scents
should i start swapping cages or just swap objects
also when should i let them see each other face to face (but in their own cages not touching)
there was an accident last night and the younger one (oliver) bit my older one (zeke) through the cage in a matter of seconds while i was letting zeke have his playtime
zeke is not aggressive towards oliver at all. he does poop and sometimes spray when oliver is around and tries to chin him but he doesn't snort or nip
he has been digging at my door and trying to sneak into the living room when i enter/leave but i don't think he's doing it out of aggression
he's actually been honking at oliver
i am hoping oliver will become nicer to zeke when he's fixed as i am open to bonding if possible but if not i still need them to be used to each other as i will be separating their spaces with a mesh baby gate

I wouldn't start swapping cages, or any bonding yet because it will be lost in the neuter. It will be a waste. I think that the baby gate will work. Good luck.
