Well, pamnock is right - it's stasis season. Bo's not bad, but he's not pooping enough and the ones he's left are small and dark.

He's still eating and drinking a bit (but he isn't drinking as much as he should or usually does)..... Late last night (midnight) I decided to let him out to play and see if that helped - it did, a few poos left on his favorite blankie to fluff! He did a bunch of binkies (love that late night play hour!) and ate fine this morning. He's just not eating as much hay as I'd like..... and I really would love to see more poos and bigger poos.

Keep him in your thoughts, please!

They sure know how to stress us don't they.

I need to go get some! I got the wrong kind before (beef flavor lol) and I can pick up some cilantro. He loves that.

It's so weird - he's eating fine!

You'd think Clover would be the one not pooping! she found a bag of pellets close enough to her cage that she was able to chew through the ziplock...... Luke and Lexi are so bad about leaving stuff near her! I swear when I am not looking, she uses her little feets to pull stuff closer to her!

I've been up and down all night, checking, praying for poops....... not much.... maybe 10 tiny ones since 1 a.m.? Normally, he's the poop machine!

:pray::litterhealthy:

Bo's twin, Basil is having similar issues right now. Not really smaller poos, but a little less enthusiastic on the eating, just a bit "off". Ugh. Come on Bo, more poos! I'm picking up nutri cal today too!
My whole crew is off.

I'm not even nervous about it. Not even when it comes to Bo. Much

sas :nerves1
I'm trying to be brave like sas:cry2

Awww.... look at Bo above in my siggy and then Basil in your avatar! They are like twins!

He's out playing and pooing but little tiny ones.... he's eaten some orchard grass today.... Clover is ticked.... she should be out also, but I don't want to get her poos confused with his......Mine are HORRIBLE about pooing all over their room when they play- it's a marking sorta thing I guess..... so they aren't free to roam the house. They'd also likely get stepped on or something....

They play - I sweep :twitch:

Bo also ate a bit of oats this morning.... and drank some. I am mostly concerned with his not drinking like normal.

Beef flavor is fine - remember, we're talking about animals that eat their own poop LOL

LOL yeah, but he didn't like it..... Ewwwwwwwwwwwww...... Bo and Clover hide if they smell us cooking any type of meat! LOL!

Com on bo You need to pooop.

Storm seem of in the sense he wont play as much at night but is normal eating poohing and such.

Com on bo com on.

Its weird when I see one of the mods bunny sick when yall are helping everyone else yalls buns seem like they could never get sick.

Just a thought I had

Oh they do! Tony has a foggy eye that they couldn't find anything wrong with so he's going to a specialist for tests soon. Bo gets sore hocks sometimes and all that. This is the first time he's been so "little of poo" in a long time.

How is Bo doing? Are you giving him pumpkin? That usually helps a lot here. None of my guys will take Nutrical willingly, they all hate it. But pumpkin helps with hydration and fiber.

Also, mint is good for upset tummies. See if Bo will eat some fresh mint (or basil)or drink some cooled herbal mint tea.

OMG! I forgot the pumpkin!!!! (I need a notecard or something LOL!) I know to do that and haven't! Now, granted, he HATES it.... or at least pretends to but then will eat it off his feet and then go for some in his dish.... LOL!

I'm off to the store and I'm going to get him some basil. He hates mint...... he's so weird.....

He's happy! he just binkied a zillion times and even did some of the straight up and turn around kind.... he hasn't done those in ages!! LOL!

I also got him to eat some more hay...... he's loving the Orchard grass! and I caught him getting a drink.... which is great! he had water droplets coming from his little curly whiskers......

Still hardly any poos tho :(

Bo eating a bit more hay is a good sign, along with all of his extraordinary binkies!!! I am sure bigger poo's are on the way!! :D

Have you tried any bene-bac to get his tummy flora going again? I know I have been using it a bit more with Patrick of late with the way he grooms Zappa in the hopes of getting some lovin'.

I do agree, this is the time of year for tummy upsets. Pumpkin, pineapple, and bene-bac are always on hand. I am ordering a larger size bag of timothy hay for next week, as well as picking up a new timothy tunnel (the joy of destroying something good for them ;)).

I looked at bene-bac at the pet store but didn't know if I needed to get it! DANG!

He's eaten a leaf of romaine now....... he's eating like a pig!
