Becca had her surgery one week ago today. She has not had the metacam in two days and has not showed any signs of pain. She is constantly trying to get out of her cage so I thought "Hmm, I wonder" and while Mousse was out I got Becca out and held her and Mousse and let them touch noses. *cough* Well *cough* lets just say if my finger was near Becca would had taken it off. So I put Becca back up and quit :expressionless

How the heck am I to get them buddy buddy again?

I went through this twice with my buns. The first time I was able to get them rebonded. The second time, well I am still working on it. What I did the first time was pretty much start the process all over. I would put them in the bathroom with a gate in the middle of the bathroom and put one bunny on each side. When they stopped trying to bite each other through the gate. I removed the gate. A water bottle to spray them with if they get aggressive really helped me. I also turned on the bath tub once which they hated. But it made them think more about what the heck that noise was then each other. I also took both bunny's to the post op appointment to have the stitches removed. I took them in separate carriers but when we got to the vets I put them on the table together.

This time the one rabbit is extremely aggressive. I think what I am going to do is take them somewhere and start the bonding there. I have tried to bond them so many times in the spaces here they are use to it and it just isn't working.

I think there is a thread in the library about bonding which may be able to give you some tips. Some people have put them together in a box in the car or untop of a washer when the washer is on.

Good luck.

I had no trouble bonded them before. I know how to bond but this is behond me. I was told it would be best for rebonded to do Becca because Moussey was the alfa girl but now Moussey wants love from Becca an Becca wants to kill her. I think maybe I will try taking them outside, it's very nice, so maybe a "strange" place will help. They are use to the house but even when I bonded them first time they where use to it.

Yeah, at least 2 weeks are needed to make sure hormones aren't a factor.
