Post op bunny care.HELP

My bunny isn't fussed on eating since having his teeth filed down under anaesthetic.i have green powder stuff to mix with water and syringe feed him bt he has got wise and refuses to swallow.its been 3 days since and he is eating tiny bits of carrot and apple and some dried food by hand bt would love some advice from fellow bunny mad people.i have had him back to the vets and they said to keep syringe feeding.he is bright enough bt no where near his mischieveous self,all tips appreciated as I'm worried:?

I would think softening some pellets in water would be a good idea, plus feeding some baby food like pumpkin or squash. With these you don't need to use the syringe.
