possible rabbit enclosure?

Hello! im moving rooms and want to get a bigger cage for my 2 rabbits. One possible idea is that i could have them reside in my closet? no clothes or anything in there, just them. i would take off the doors and build a 2 leveled cage. the closet isnt a walk in, so it isnt too big, but its about 8sqft. would this be a good place for them to live?

Is it built-in closet or you can move it? Pictures would be good

I would go for it, if there's about 2 ft between 1st and 2nd levels so they can stretch fully when stand on hind that would be fine. 2nd level can be a bit less like min 45 cm. I would also build first shelf a bit higher than floor level if possible.

I actually have same project myself, not a closet but there's place for it 114 cm x 40cm but also can be extended as there's a corner so right side would be 40 cm and left side 110 cm so kinda three sides would be walls 114 cm x 40 cm x 110 cm and front panel something like I have fireguard panels they should be good there.

Wait, 8 sq ft would it be deeper than 2ft? What would be width I mean front panel
