Poison Ivy, Cellulitis, Cars and Horses......

The truck is done. I have to return my little escape tomorrow. :bawl:

I worked today and Lexi helped. I was fine but one of my legs has this big purplish place. It could be bruising but it's weird that it's right where the poison ivy was. My skin is just awful too......

Today was baling hay day. It's been busy! I just do a few odds and ends but my son worked 11 hours on hay, in the son, with no sunscreen....... :foreheadsmack:

Hope your son isn't too badly sunburned!:shock: My son is gonna be detassling this summer and I've already told him he has to wear sunscreen and white t-shirts

Definite farmer's tan errrrrr are there lobster farmers? LOL!

Detassling? They STILL do that? I thought they had a machine to do it.

Bro inlaw has a big thing that squeezes bales together and puts them on the wagon. It's pretty cool.... he gets like 9 at a time.

LOL, Yeah, they still do it, but what's funny is that my hubby said they thought they rode on machines down the rows, well, from the meeting, no. They walk it!:? They only do the female rows, as the male rows have tassles on every plant, the female rows only have tassles every 4 or 5 plants.(Ilearned something, lol!) Hmm.

I'm getting better finally! I still have a couple of dry areas, a couple of still healing areas and a couple of big purplish bruises cause of the prednisone making me bruise easy.

On a funny note: The truck repair wasn't done right and I went to get the truck around 4 pm yesterday (they close at 5) so they saw what they missed and what wasn't noted by the insurance guy - the door wouldn't close right still - and I still have my little Ford Escape for the weekend! :wiggle

Luke's burn isn't too bad and I still have issues with my outlaws.
