Maybe checking the teeth might be a sensible idea.

Could you provide him with a buffet with all his favourite things? And also a variety of hay?

Somewhere Randy gave a really good explanation of how to help a rabbit in GI stasis, I'll try andd find it.

Try not to panic, he will sense that and it will stress him further.

As for the brushing, have you ever tired plucking? I gently pull the moulting fur and it comes out in clumps. They can look funny but it stops it getting into their gut.

Maybe he is wanting attention.;)

Actually, maybe he's just off a bit since he's molting. Is the feed good? have you tried other feed than the current bag? Sometimes feed can spoil.

I couldn't find what I was looking for that Randy wrote. I found some other stuff, but not what he does with his GI stasis bunnies.

Any chance it could be worms or anything?

His feed is a new bag. It smells fresh and Ivory is eating it, anyway....

He did eat some craisins a minute ago, this is progress....

And he isn't in stasis. There is nothing indicative of it other than his lack of eating. He *was* constipated pretty badly a few days ago but isn't any more.

And no, there is absolutely no chance that it is worms.

It could just be that he's passed everything that would have showed up on an xray and still isn't feeling so hot. (No gas pockets I gather?)

It always takes awhile to get the GI tract back to normal, syringe feeding Critical Care, maybe some pumpkin, Pedialyte and or the sub-qs for a couple or three days might well be the ticket.

When my guys are molting, disruptions are pretty common. I keep them on wet pumpkin and diluted juice (and a ton of veggies) for the whole time. Otherwise they tend to go 'off' more often than not. (Or at leastthat's the case with my little non-hay eating diva).

Nope, no gas pockets. Dad said what you said- that maybe he has passed everything and just isn't feeling so well. He also said that I'm too impatient...

I'll have to see if he has any Critical Care in the back....

In better news, I just walked past Erik's kennel and there were POOPS in his litter box. Glorious, round, hydrated POOPS. Not a lot but they were there.

Thank fruitcakes.

Erik will be getting a head-X-ray in a few minutes. I'm not sure what I'm hoping for here...Dad doesn't think its his teeth, neither do I, but we want to check...

This thread just officially became pointless...read my other one.
