It does sound like your vets haven't seen something like this before, which is surprising since others on our forum have. in any case, it's good that the new one is doing a culture and will get you the right antibiotics. i'd keep on the ones you have now. as for vinegar vs iodine wash, i think iodine would be less painful than vinegar. betadine (which is an iodine-type wash) might be best. i've never head a bunny with an infected wound (cross fingers!), so i'm not sure. that's just from my idea on how painful it would be to have a wound washed with vinegar as opposed to betadine. we have put betadine on small, non-infected wounds here though. finally, some bacteria can survive in pretty acidic environments, especially some of the ones that are already present on/in our bodies, so i'm not sure vinegar would kill them off...
