I bet she was tasting you.

I have some bunnies that will lick to Kingdom come, and others that will lick a bit and then nibble. That probably shows that she is getting more comfortable and is hungry and stuff, which is all a good sign.

She hardly ever grooms herself, do you think this will get better with time given her new living conditions.

She also acts immature for her age like a 6 week old not 12 weeks old.

She is happy being cradled in my arms, well hands as she is so small! Even my baby pigs are way bigger than her.

Guess what.........it was'nt a fluke. Hope really is a licky bun, I'm so happy. :) I've missed bunny kisses, she has barely left my side all day.

I'm glad I found another affectionate bun, of course I still miss Milly like mad but Hope is trying to make things better for me.

That's really good :) Bunny kisses are such a good feeling, they help you feel less alone is really bad moments.

I'm not sure what you mean by immature for her age, I have never seen much of a change between 6-12 weeks, apart frombucks when hormones come into play.

Most likely she is just very bouncy and friendly and excited, more how you might imagine baby buns to be like.

It's obvious that you will still miss Milly for a very long time, but it's good that Hope is trying to help you.

She is acting like Milly did when I first brought him home, maybe bucks act differently than does.

She just likes to be snuggled and sleeps on you all the time like Milly did. She acts a little clumsy and falls over a lot when she is cleaning herself like a really young baby animal would.

She has' nt binkied yet but as I said earlier I'm scared to give her floor time. She has'nt been introduced to the cats or dog yet either.

Some bunnies are far more snuggly than others and some also grow into it when they get love that they haven't had before, so it could be that (Sandy was like that and we got her when she was 15months old). Hope is probably just enjoying getting some love and comfort after being starved of it.

As for the falling over thing, I'm not sure, but it might be worth putting it in your medical thread, but I think it can be a symptom of E. Cuniculi, and given that she has been in awful conditions, it is very possible.
