Hello everyone,
Im looking for help and advice so here's what happened. My bunny coco( a 1 year old mini rex with a great personality ) was outside in a large cage ( for a big dog ) enjoying the warm weather when my roommate let his puppy pit/lab out, the dog cali made a b line around the house to where coco was and began circling his cage. Coco was so scared he was bouncing off the walls once i grabbed the dog coco calmed down but i noticed a little blood on the tip of his nose. Im all most certain the dog never touched him i believe it was self inflected. Long story short after he relaxed he seemed ok, a lil timid but ok until i saw the patch of hair missing by his eye. Im going to try and put a pic up but and advice on what's happening or what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Sal & Chels

A picture would help, was the small bit of blood on, around, or partly in the nose? A little scrape is okay, so long as the blood didn't come from in the nose as that could mean other types of injuries.
As per the eye, what does the skin where the hair was missing form look like? any redness or swelling? any open wounds?

Id say just keep him calm and make sure he keeps eating and drinking.

Its hard to tell if it was from inside or not i think it was inside but it stopped quickly the part where the hair is missing looks ok maybe a little irritated i have a pic but im having trouble posting it, i uploaded a copy to picasa same s/n as here meangreena4, i can email it unless anyone has a better idea. No open wounds or anything else that i can see, he's moving around not like normal but moving and eating and drinking now. He's a indoor rabbit that stays in a cage most of the time we have his door open but is reluctant to come out for any reasonable amount of time.
Btw thank you watermelons

What do you mean not moving like normal? Just not as excited and energetic? or are there any odd movements?

Well the eye itself still looks brite and clear and the wound isnt weepy but it does look irritated. Keep an eye on it and let us know what it looks like tomorrow or if there is any change in behaviour/appetite between now and tomorrow.

Good to hear, and Welcome to the forum :) Hope you decide to stick around.
