Hi, i bought 2 pieces of dried pineapple from the Bulk Barn up here in Canada.

My question is that the ingredients said it has sugar, they look likethe sugar is right on the pineapple pieces. I thought sugaris no good for Bunnies so I'm a little iffy about giving this to theBabies.

What does the pineapple look like that you give yours.

thanks

HI Soooska ,

The pineapple does have a bit of sugaronit , it really wont hurt all that much ,If you like you cangive it a quick rinse under tepid waterto remove the sugar coating ,Rinsing it a bit will alsorestore some of the moisture which isa good thing .

Do You have a Dollar Tree near You theyhave dried pineapple with No Sugar added, its the type Diabeticswould need to use . Ifind this one actually works better andyou dont have to fuss with the sugarcoating /

They don't have dollar trees in Canada, infortunately!!! The dollar stores up there are not nearly asgood as the ones in the states.

What about granola... it has brown sugar vs white sugar!

Can you give bunnies pinneaple that come from acan in Pinneaple juice? I eat that for breakfast sometimes so i wasjust wondering if i could give some to my bunnies. Or does it have tobe fresh (cut straight from the pinneaple?) Thanks.

i give kipper a few bites of the canned, but irinse it off alot first . but its not like he is getting iteveryday, just like once every few weeks he gets a few bites and heloves it!!

If you can get fresh pineapple when inseason and freeze it in pieces may be an idea and then you can justtake out a small piece and defrost it when needed.

Just a thought:?
