I need help.
First I noticed that Albert's nose was crusty. Then lately this crusty appearance has quickly spread throughout his face. I need to identify what the problem is so I can have it taken care of.

See pictures below.
(I made sure that the pictures are HUGE and as clear as possible. )

ick, he looks pretty abd though I'm not sure exactly what it is. Has he been to a vet for it? If I were you I'd get him in as soon as possible. His eyes look like they're running white a bit too, and the discharge looks quite white/pussy.

I was wondering the same about syphillis (if it's that, I think the genitals are supposed to be affected as well)and mange. Either way, that bun requires a vet visit. I hope you can get in soon so that he won't be so uncomfortable for too long. :)

Could be mange like others have said, I know pretty much all animals can get it. I just rescued a guinea-pig recently that had it.
Luckily if it is mange its easily treated and inexpensive too.

It's not myxi and it doesn't look quite right for syphilis. I would say either mange or just standard mites that have resulted in a skin infection.

A vet will do a skin scrapping and look under a microscope and they'll be able to see which the bug is causing it and give the appropriate treatment for it.

Had a vet visit today and had a skin scraping looked at with a microscope and found no mites.

The Doctor suggested that it some kind of fungal infection which an anti-fungal spray was prescribed. I hope this helps.
