Hey Laura :biggrin2:...
I just sent Judy and email and told her to call me or email me as soon as possible. I asked her if it would be okay if you and I went to her place this Saturday or Sunday (if it works for you two) to look at the bunnies.
I may convince my fiance to let me bring one home to foster for a little while :surrender. I am dragging him there too, in hopes he will feel bad and let me take one home. Don't be freaked out if I act like a whiney little baby to him about it :rollseyes, hehehe.
By the way. I have 3 adult altered rabbits, and none of them sprayed. The only time I had a problem with them spraying was when I brought home an adult unaltered female to foster...then they went spray crazy!
When you bring home the new bun, it will mark it's territory for a few days. This is natural. Just put a tarp or a table cloth under their cage to protect the floor. You can probably get a spay/neuter appointment at the spay/neuter clinic or another vet pretty quickly....I would imagine. Just have to make sure they are rabbit savvy.
Oh, and your bunny will come with a cage and everything from Judy. I am not sure if she will charge an adoption fee if she knows the bun is going to a GREAT home! It would be nice though, to give her a little bit...like $30 or something so she can buy more feed for the other bunnies there.
Hrm, I wonder what else I forgot to say, hehe.
OH! Meet Marlin, my Lionhead:

Right now my other three adult bunnies are being fostered in Texas by Peg (TinysMom). My fiance and I had some issues, so I went to stay with her for 2 1/2 weeks, and the buns stayed there when I came back. I will be getting one back from her in September or so...and the other three when my fiance, Ryan, and I find a new place to rent. We are only 18....so things get rocky, I suppose, at this age
.
EDIT TO ADD: CheyAutRanch is the only other active Arizona member (living in New River), besides us. So....we have three AZ members!
