I was looking around and wanted a carrier that was lighter to take. Cause my mom usally takes me to the bunny apts. The post office changed there daytime hours thats where she works. the last apt is at 330 which she can't me too. I took Monsters as some of u know on Tuesday by Bus and feet my back and shoulders hurt from carring the large plastic carrier. So i saw this http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2753365 good idea????? or does anyone have a better idea.

I have believe i have 2 petsmarts in town.

ETA: thats the wrong link. This is what i was thinking off http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2753524

I suppose it could work but ive honestly never seen one big enough for either of my rabbits... also, remember if there are peepees its going to be MESSY.

I had that exact carrier for my first bunny. I can't remember how large Monsters is, but the large carrier is pretty big - 15.5" x 10.5" x 10". The inside of the carrier is wipe-able. I always put a fleece in it because it was slippery. I really liked the carrier and as long as it is big enough for Monsters, I'd recommend it.

I have one those. They are awkward to carry for long periods. It takes me about 10 mins to walk from the bus stop to the vet clinic on camps. thats why i was looking for something light weight.

You might want to get one that's a bit sturdier. The bus can sometimes be crowded and if someone were to bumpinto that carrier it's likely that they'll hit your bunny.

I have these for my bunnies

They're not at all heavy and very easy to clean!

i use something like that for my buns. got it for 10$ at costco :p. it works well for me, i can fit fred and shadow in it. with both of them in it, there's not a lot of room, but they are not in it for more than a half hour.

No. Not with the dollar so wacked out. I can get a big plastic at walmart. I wanted something lighter on the back. How about this.

That looks much better! More sturdier and it has a strap for your shoulders. That's actually really neat! People would give you some curious looks when they saw what was inside! :)

when choosing a pet carrier- just kind in mind your bunny's habits. For example, when I wanted to fly with Bailey, he chews EVERYTHING. I actually got a small cloth carrier similar to that one and he ripped the mesh up/off. So just be careful, but things like that usually work well.

I only have one objection to the one in the second link you posted, and that's the brnad name-Marshall's. I will NEVER, EVER buy Marshall's products.

I agree. I, personally, do not buy anything from them. I do not buy any products from suppliers that do not give a poo about animal welfare.

Yes, this link is from PETA (who has insane views of most things)...but Marshall Farms is really like this. They are terrible and cause many heart ache and suffering for the animals they produce and the owners who get them later if life (if the animal is lucky enough to make it out) because they die from health issues due to improper breeding. It's Quantity, not quality at Marshall Farms.

Why not buy a hand truck like the type travellers use for their luggage? It would be much easier towing your bunny for 10 minutes instead of carrying.
