Palace Pet bedding

I recently ordered this and I put it in the wash today. I remember that it said it was fully washable, but in order to use it again, I'll have to dry it too or else it'll take what, a week to air dry it?


I noticed a couple fluffs roaming around where Brigitte had been laying on it. Do any of you know whether a bun might ingest this? I can't imagine it would be tasty or anything, and I don't think she would have, but I just want to find out what other people's experiences are.

Also, I thought it was supposed to wick moisture away, but whenever I come home, I find her wet on her side (she's always on her side) even when I put litter underneath the stuff to absorb it.

Any suggestions to help keep Brigitte dry?

Exactly what kind of Palace Pet bedding did you get? I have a piece of their vet bed. This is what mine looks like:

I used it in the bottom of my rabbit's carrier for his long flight home. All in all, he was on it for about 34 hours (he wouldn't come out of his carrier at first so spent the night in it with the door open his first night home and undoubtedly peed on it more). I was really impressed with it, when I went to clean it it wasn't wet, all the urine and spilled water went through it to the paper towels underneath. I know Palace Pet makes more than one kind of pet bed though, perhaps you bought something else?

Oh and with mine, I hand washed it in a big sink, squeezed out the excess water for 15 seconds or so, then put it in the washing machine on the spin cycle for about a minute. It was nearly dry after that, then I hung it up to finish drying overnight. It would have honestly been dry enough to use right away though.

Yep, I ordered off the web site slavetoabunny posted. Thanks for posting that again! Also, I see that they now have pretty colors. They only had gray when I ordered :grumpy:

After washing it worked a lot better. Mine's purple by the way!
