My rabbit had another tooth taken out and he has hardly any left so I’m feeding him soaked selective science pellets which he eats when soaked in warm water. He won’t eat hay never has tbh and will eat tiny amounts of soft leaf greens. I am feeding him pellets 3/4 times a day to ensure he’s getting something inside. Vet never gave me pain killer so not sure what else to try or any pain killer? He is about 9/10 years

OMG! That is terrible, no pain killer after a surgery like that! Poor bunny. Insist on Metacam - needs a vet prescription. And in future I would take him to a good rabbit vet - link here: Rabbit Friendly Vet List. There are no good hay substitutes really. Will he eat fresh grass? You could also try Fibafirst.

He’s recovered now but has to have his science selective pellets soaked in warm water to soften them. Strangely won’t drink water last few days maybe he’s getting it in the soaked pellets. He never ate hay despite trying lots of good brands. Just pellets is not ideal but he is 10. He seems ok though. Thanks I will try Fibafirst
