daughter has done this - she called it zorbing. great fun but hot! like she was in a giant hamster exercise ball. she'd love to do the one where you roll down a hillside in a similar thing.

This has to be my favourite word ever.

Basically I was at Party In The Park about 4 years ago, and O2 had a big advertising thing, they basically had this huge inflatable dome and inside it was loads of weird stuff, like bean bags and flourescent ice pops and a big wall you could write on (and of course loads of adverts about phones and such!) And around the outside of the dome there was a track with one of those balls in it. You could go in the ball for free but you had to get a ticket which meant you had to queue up and go in the dome and they gave you a voucher on the way out.

So me and my friend were on our way out and the lady was going 'here, take a zorb voucher, would you like a zorb voucher?' to everyone who was leaving. She gets to us, she turns to us, thrusts this voucher into my hand and shouts ZORB!! It totally freaked me out but I will never forgot it!

I just realised how irrelevant and unfunny this story is :baghead

Yes! That's the word- I couldn't think of it earlier. It's like zorbing but on water supposedly. There are videos on YouTube of it. We can only assume that's what they mean anyway... I guess we'll see when we get there! I've decided that I'm just going to do as much as I can, and if I'm dizzy there, then I'm dizzy. I'm sick of missing out on the fun!


My toe is a little better- I took some more painkillers and I've been resting it all day so far. Thank you!

Knowing me, I would get stuck out in the middle of a lake in the Zorbing ball. I would get out there, then I wouldn't be able to get back! It's happened with inflatable tubes on lakes... I just know it would happen with the Zorb ball, too!

I would prescribe lots of healing Dotty kisses! Hope you are feeling better - I am finding that older elbows and knees do not heal quickly - had right elbow injected with a cortisone shot back in January and on Wednesday of next week the left elbow has to be injected - it keeps me up at night and is not responding to physical therapy or massage therapy...and I am out of sick time after the gallbladder surgery...

It stinks getting older!
