Hi,

Any bite should be considered serious since it can introduce new bacteria...and it is quite likely to become infected. We usually treat bites both with antibiotics...oral or injected as well as topical. Would not hurt to try to gently flush the bite wound with saline.

The wound is already dried and harden. Do I still wash it or something?

What oral, injected andtopical antibiotic do you recommend? dosage?

Since the wound was dry when I saw it I decided not to wash it because I'm afraid that if it's wet then that's when it's really gonna get infected.

It's healing ok I think.. not oozing with pus or anything..
