:yeahthat:

Doesn't look like a nethie to me. But it won't matter on bonding like Katie says. And she is sure adorable no matter!

It's difficult to identify breed because most of us are not familiar with Vietnam breeds. The rabbit doesn't resemble the American Netherland Dwarf, however does have some resemblance to the British Polish rabbit (which is very different from the American Polish).

I do not recommend breeding unless you already have homes for up to 6 babies. Yes, they can breed. But it is risky and it would be much safer to get her spayed and the male neutered, then bond them. If you do decide to breed, make sure to do TONS of research before you do. BTW, her color is broken black otter.

it would be safest to house them separately until after they were spayed/neutered (and btw, males can still be hormonal AND fertile for up to 8 weeks; females can still be hormonal for up to 4 weeks after surgery) - the last thing you want is an "oops" litter when the female's body is too little to handle it. a kit could get stuck during birth and cause other kits or even the mother to die.

Wait, for breeding or bonding? You'd have to wait 3-4 months for either.

I wouldn't breed, there are do many baby bunnies in shelters needing homes. If you we're to breed they should be pure bred quality rabbits so you can improve a breed. I would neuter them both, if you are going to breed don't breed them at 3 months old, your bunny is still a baby herself so will probably reject her babies, wait until AT LEAST 7 months.
