So I thought it was weird that at the fair the people told me that Smudge was a pure bred Netherland that "had" papers but they "lost" them and well i got him and weighed him and he ways like 3 pounds point somthing..which is big for a netherland, he also has a MUCH bigger body that a Netherland. So i was thinking..could he be a mix? Well i got looking and came across some Netherland dwarf Holland lop mixes and LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

Can you tell the difference? I cant! Litterally they could pass for the same rabbit.
What do you guys think? Think Smudge is a pure bred or a Netherland Holland mix?

Lets here it :)

My goodness! Yes they look almost identical!

Looking at them from the shoulders back, they have a holland lop body type. The head is wayyyyy too big for a Nethie, too. As for the coloring, we have a Himilayan Marked Netherland Dwarf....the color should go farther up the bunny's legs, not just the feet.

Smudge looks like a Holland that someone stuck(large) Nethies ears on.Being crossed with a Holland, he shouldn't get much bigger than he is now. Anyway, he's adorable!

Awwwww I don't know what he is, but he sure is cuuuute and sure is his little twin! I don't get it though, why isn't he a Smudge anymore?

You can also have a nethie that doesn't meet standards. My Teresa does but Chibi not so much.
Absolutely true. It just struck me how much they were marked exactly the same...including the feet-but-not-legs.

And I'm with SnowyShiloh...why isn't he a SMUDGE anymore? Bunny identity crisis!

Such a handsome bun! :inlove:

I dont know, the title sounded good lol i really have no clue why i said that :?
but anyways, yeah i am not sure what he is.

He kind of looks like Wynona in body type. She is a Netherland Dwarf from nice lines in Texas, however, she is a false dwarf so she is bigger. Keebler is right at 2 lbs but Wynona is over 3lbs. Both are purebred netherlands.
