I do not know who is still here and who is not. It has been years since I have left here. My name is Angel and I had 3 buns. Abby, Thumper and MeatHead! 2 Holland lops and 1 fawn flemmie.
I am still bunnyless and have no plans of having a bun as well. I also had handful of Guinea pigs too then. I am from Pittsburgh but just moved out of Pgh to Northwest Ohio 1 county away from Indiana.
I need to see any familiar members that are still here.
Well, a lot has happened over the years. I believe 2005 was the last time I was here and was then I had to rehome MeatHead. After rehoming MeatHead and moving out to Weirton West Virginia. We had it rough, Living in Weirton Wv for a year and half. In 2007 I was with my sister when she passed away from heart failure. She was 36 shy of her 37th birthday. She was my only sibling. After loosing my sister Nov 2007 We moved back to Pittsburgh in 2008 to be near my mom and my husband's family too. Well that was a mistake for us.
We worked at the same job since 2008 til last year. Pittsburgh Jobs was horrible, pay sucked and we had a friend online for a long time. Told us that his company is desperate of people. So We learned about St. Marys Ohio, the company etc. We jumped in and took the plunged. We packed up in 1 36 foot box truck, our Explorer with me, my father in law and our 2 dogs in the back and we left Pittsburgh and our family behind. Watching our rental home and our city of Pgh get smaller til it disappear was bitter sweet for me. It took us 6 or so hours to get to our new town with 2 dogs a tow. 1 was very very sick with cancer, we almost lost her twice on the way. When we finally arrived, I was relieved and excited to be here in Ohio. It was our dream to live in Ohio but not that far west of Ohio.
After moving in and starting my new job as a temp to hire for Hitachi Metals (AAP). Working so hard 12 hour shifts 7pm to 7am 3 days on, 3 days off, 4 days on and 4 days off. Also picking up 1 extra day on top of that, I worked anywhere from 48 to 60 hours a week, while my hubby was dealing with double hernia and getting surgery done. After we had our first shut down during Christmas, I told my hubby that I am done working 60 hours a week. I'll pick up overtime when I worked 3 days a week. After working 8.5 long hard months I get laid off. Before I got laid off I was supposed to get hired in Feb. 1 week before the hire class I had to call off for family emergency, my father in law was rushed to the hospital with a mild heart attack. Well they would not work with me. I was relieved that I got laid off so I don't have to put up with them but not happy that I lost work. I was off work for a full month before I switched temp agency and started working for ProPet right next door to AAP.
I have no intention returning back to Pgh to live there ever. I will only go there to visit family that is about it. I ABSOLUTELY love Ohio!!!!
