So we are done...
THANK THE LORD!!
Anyway.. Blake took Reserve Champ.. which is the 2nd pig overall. Even the judge said the Grand and reserve Champ pigs were so good, and so close, it was really hard for him to decide.
The other boy was graduating this year, and it was his last show.. so Blake was OK with it.
So he made auction for his swine, both of my boys made auction for their rabbits.
All of the sets of rabbits I put in made auction. Christian sold his pig outta the barn to a breeder for $300
Blake got $650 for his pig..
The rabbits went for:
$400-Christian
$275-Ty
$400-Lucas
$375-Dakota
$250-Blake
The money made was terrible, I think partly due to the fuel costs, people don't have as much to spend.. and because the HUGE Bass Tournament that EVERYBODY enters was rescheduled for the the same weekend.. so we had like zero buyers..it was basically the same 4 people buying over 50 animals. But we are grateful for at least getting what we got.
And I don't have that horrible pig of Christians anymore...
The dog took first place in the doggy show...
