Mom and Dad were watching TV when Momsaid, "I'm tired, andit's getting late. I think I'll go tobed."

She went to the kitchen to makesandwiches for the next day's lunches.Rinsed out the popcornbowls, took meat out of the freezer for supperthe followingevening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugarcontainer, put spoons and bowls on the table andstarted thecoffee pot for brewing the next morning.
She then put some wet clothes in thedryer, put a load of clothes intothe washer, ironed a shirtand secured a loosebutton.
She picked up the game pieces left onthe table, put the phoneback on the charger and put thetelephone book into the drawer.
She watered the plants, emptied awastebasket and hung up a toweltodry.
She yawned and stretched and headed forthe bedroom. She stopped bythe desk and wrote a note to theteacher, counted out somecash for the field trip, and pulleda text book out from hiding underthe chair. She signed abirthday card for a friend, addressed andstamped the envelopeand wrote a quick note for the grocery store. Sheput bothnear her purse.
Mom then washed her face with 3 in 1cleanser, put on her Nightsolution & age fightingmoisturizer, brushed and flossed herteeth and filed hernails.
Dad called out, "I thought you were going to bed."
"I'm on my way,"she said.
She put some water into the dog's dishand put the cat outside, thenmade sure the doors were lockedand the patio light was on.She looked in on each of the kidsand turned out their bedside lampsand TV's, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into thehamper, and had a briefconversation with the one up stilldoinghomework.
In her own room, she set the alarm;laid out clothing for the nextday, straightened up the shoerack. She added three things to her 6most important things todo list. She said her prayers, and visualizedtheaccomplishment of her goals.
About that time, Dad turned off the TVand announced to no one inparticular. "I'm going tobed."And he did...without anotherthought.
Anything extraordinary here?
Wonder why women live longer...?

ahahahahahaha....that's sooooo true :D:D

This is so funny that I read that this morningbecause last night I said to hubby "good night I am headed to bed",then I remembered I forgot to let the dogs out, so I did that, whilethey were outside I folded a load of towels that were in thedryer. I let the dogs in and double checked that Zach fed thebunny. Then I remebered Zach had to be to school by 6:40 todayso I quick made his lunch so it was one less thing to do in themorning. Then I checked on Zach made sure he was sleeping allsnuggly, then I went into our room realized there was a pile of cleanclothes on the bed, quick hung them up. Then decided to get one lastdrink of water and one final bathroom break, then I again saidgoodnight to hubby, and he said to me "I thought you went to bed awhile ago!" LOL!!!! Tracy

yeah going to bed is actully a 2-3 hour long process LOL

the impressive thing is hubby now does 2 things before going to bed, hefeeds and waters his birds and he feeds his fish. sometimes he asks thedogs if they wanna go out, but most the time he sneeks into bed so I'mthe one to do it...however i then let them in the room to squish him inbed while i go tend bunnies and everything else w/o doggies underfoot......
