ok ill explain the situation the lady explainedto me. she has 2 female rabbits. one new zealand and onerex as i recall both spayed. they are both around 4years old and she has had them 2 years. the problem being and part ofwhy she will be placing is..... they both haveproblems with infection she said it was in thegenitalia area but then she said in the urine? they havespent hundreds on vet bills and had them on numerous meds only for itto come right back after off the medication. she explained itas a milky like ness to the urine. im almost confused as towhat she is trying to explain. first i was thinking ok maybea std? but they have been caged apart and never bred. shesaid this has been an issue for over a year now. with thatsaid what ideas do you have on what the problem couldbe? im almost scared to take them in as id hate to have allthe rabbits sick if its something that can spread amoung therabbits. but thats also the reason i do rescue totake in rabbits that can no longer stay in there currenthome. gypsy if you read this help !

Could be vent disease or bladder sludge. Ventdisease can act like an infection, and can come back after treatment isdone. Not sure about bladder sludge though.

Kim , sounds like a UTI, and Chronic, Im notsure if it will be contagious or not , depends on what thecause is .I have to wonder about the Vet and so many different meds, and why it cant clear up ? you can takethem But keep hands extra clean , and keep them seperate fromall others till you know what you are dealing with. If it cant becleared you may have to put them down. its going tobe expensive and a new bunny mom or dadisnt going to want a sick and costly animal, youmay end up having them stay and keep vetting at acost .

when she calls back have her give you a completelist of what they eat , it could be the culprit , or even thewater , ask her tap ? chloriene/floride treated ?or bottled. again it could be the water, there maybe many things causing the problem and a process ofelimanation is going to solve it.

I wish I had seen this thread sooner before youwent off line so sorry hon I will try toPm you before work in the morning.
