Ok so I got Ripleya week and a half ago. His nose looked slightly wet when I got him, but when Iemailedthe breeder, shereassured me that it was probably just milk and maybe hay, as he had just been weened 2 days before.his nose is still wet and its primarily clear. Maybe a little bit yellow, but I think just clear now. His hay is Oxbow Orchard grass hay and his pellets are Purina fibre3 mixed with the breeders pellets. Neitherare dusty. I haven't heard any sneezing (*crosses fingers* *prays hard* ) or seen any thick kinda gunk like Charlie had. I don't think there's eye discharge or anything like that.
For multiple places I've heard of trying Benedryl to dry up their nose (esp. if its like allergies of course) but I really don't know how much to give. I'm completly paranoid afte having Charlie and her being sick. =/ I think hers just ended up being a respiratory infection, but idk. Alllso, I've heard of using a saline kinda thing in their nose to dry it up. Any of you know anything about that? I'm just wanting to try something as I'm overly paranoid. And I don't want to miss something.:? I'll try to get some pics up later of it. NOt sure why I always end up with the sick bunnies when I get one. :nerves1
