They all have wood pellet litter under a mound of hay, with the exception of Badger who just has the pellet litter. They all use their litter trays proficiently with the exception of one who just goes wherever he feels like, but that is on mounds of hay so sinks through and down.

Bedding wise, hay and oodles of it (seriously, we go through a bale a week here). And for those indoors, the things I already mentioned.

I was talking to my mum about it, and because it has occured in all the rabbits despite how differently they are housed, she said maybe it might be something all rabbits have (the thickened skin).

So, is it? Does you rabbit have thickened skin on it's heels? You know you want to find out :)

Could be they are getting a bit of a rough thick skin from the wood bedding, but nothing to worry about. I know Bo has it.... I'll look at Tony and Clover later. It's harder with them since they have more fur and Clover is wild and hard to even catch LOL!

:) Good luck with doing the other buns. When I was doing ours I have never been squawked at, grunted at, clucked at or squealed at so much, EVER! Lol, so good luck.

I've just been putting sudocreme on the Dopeys and whilst they are 'wearing' minimal sudocreme in all the right places, I am covered head to toe in it. :grumpy:

yeah, that didn't go over well. Clover was having nothing to do with it and I'll need someone to hold Tony for me. :?
