NIC Cubes Nowhere to be found!!!

Hubby was sleeping in, so I went hunting for NIC cubes today so I could build a big run for Elf to run around in without the harness. I COULDN'T FIND ANY!!!! I went to Target first...all they had were these snap together PLASTIC panels! I'm just sure it's their replacement idea for NIC cubes! Then I went to Walmart...NOTHING!

I'm going to go to Lowe's and Home Depot tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed. I just wanted to share my frustration. I was so looking forward to putting it together and letting Elf have a big romp in the grass.

Have you looked for them under a different name? In the closet/shelving area? I'm surprised Target doesn't have them!

In the Walmart here, the cubes are in where the closet stuff is.

ugh how frustrating!!!!

Our targets here always have them in stock... i could always pick up a box or two and you could paypal me the money for them and shipping in case you cant find them.. after all we are in the same state.

I just bought some. I know most have them in the home storage but I went to one Target and they had them in home improvement.

I can do better! This the one at Target! They come in white, black, blue and chrome. Though some stores have other colors too.

You can also find them under Whitmor Wire Storage Cubes. The Wal-Mart here never carries them, but you can get them on the online store and have them shipped to your local Wal-mart for free.

I have ordered my NIC grids 2 thursdays ago.. and it still hasnt arrived its the only place i can get it here... =[

Yep! This is the kind I have! Got at Target. (I've also heard of the Whitmor ones at Walmart.)

I think they're probably on sale a lot because maybe they're moving to the plastic squares instead.

I didn't have time to go hunt yesterday. Hair and nails took up most of my day and then I went grocery shopping.

I've bought a total of 4 boxes since May. I bought two one time and two maybe a month or two later. The second set I bought had a lot larger holes in the grids. Not sure if this is what they are doing or if it matters to a lot of people. AT first I thought I had got the wrong thing but they were the same, just larger size squares.
