Grr. And people wonder why I stopped working forthe Forest Service, etc. They refuse to change anything until it'spractically too late. At the bottom of the article it said that theydidn't list a different (or just geographically different?) pygmyrabbit until its population was down to 30 in the wild! That is NOTenough to make the population genetically stable. If even one of thoserabbits carried a harmful recessive gene it could destroy what's leftof the population after a couple of generations.

And this was even something cute. They're usually easier to get on the lists. You should try getting 3 inch tall ferns listed!
