Hello all!

My bunny-trio has been bonded for about a month now, and have free-roam of the "bunny room." I've tried different set-ups of litter boxes and have steam-cleaned the carpet numerous times (even with Nature's Miracle carpet shampoo...) and they still mark all over about 1/2 of the room. It's starting to drive me crazy, as they were never this bad when they were all in separate pens, but right next to each other.

Is there anything I can do to help them regain their good litterbox habits, so I don't have to spend every weekend off deep-cleaning the carpet? :pullhair:

Thanks for any advice you can send my way.

Tee and the Bunny-trio + Sofia. :biggrin2:

Are they new to the room? Could be the other bunnies in the room making them feel they need to mark

No, they've been in the room for over a year, though most of that time was while they were in connecting x-pens. (And I think that may be part of the reason...but I've steam-cleaned the carpets so many times that all those pheromones HAVE to be gone by now! ).

Sofia is in our main bathroom, which is kitty-corner from the main bunny-room, and my Puffaluff is at the Bridge, so I don't think either of them causing the marking, either. :)

Okay...back to shampooing the carpet. :D

I had heard about restricting their space, so yesterday after I steam-cleaned the carpets, I moved them back in to an 8x8 x-pen. So far there's only been one little pee spot (though lots of poos...which is fine), so it may be working! Fingers crossed!
