Hello. I have a male dutch rabbit named Ash. I got Ash originally for my daughter who still enjoys him, but he has turned into my little buddy. I let him out, if I go to the cage he'll come over and let me pet him, sometimes when its not so hot I'll even set up a little area for him to hop around and eat some grass. Ash gets fresh food 2-3 times a week onto of the staple diet, weather it be a maple branch with leaves, a big dandilion salad, or some fruit, he's always getting spoiled. Ash is an indoor rabbit that was litter trained but always slept in the litter box so I took that out and it has the grated bottom with a blanket on the one side for him to sleep. Other than that I rotate out his toys once a week to keep him happy.

Cute! Glad to hear he has bonded with you. People are sometimes surprised at the relationship that one can form with a rabbit.

Agnes comes when called and knows when treats are coming and follows me around for head scratches :)

Oh and by the way, Agnes sleeps in her litterbox all the time. It's pretty normal....if you ever want to consider a litter box again...

Welcome!

Hee, Hee. Yes, my Shadowfax also loves to sleep in his litter box -- and he's my pure white rabbit! He still manages to stay sparkling clean.

Welcome, thatguy! :big wink:

Welcome!

I just re-read your post here and knew something caught me. I saw you mentioned maple branch "with leaves." That red-flagged me. I just did a quick search and found conflicting info. Some places say that the branch of maple is fine but that the leaves are toxic. Other places don't mention the leaves. I just wanted to give you a head's up just to be safe. I know some toxicities are cumulative...
