Well my order from Pets at Home finally arrived!

I ordered this sisal tree:

I've put it in the hutch but I don't know how it will go! To be honest I don't know why I buy some many toys. I think it's for my won enjoyment, both my bunnies don't play with toys!

Also bought a litter pan (I ordered the large one, thinking it would be meager for a rabbit, my god its HUGE!), a new water bottle and also a hay manager for the second hutch. Plus two little chewable 'magazines' for bunnies. They were only about £2 but they are so cute!

It also came in a stupidly huge box, that I'm now in the process of turning into a bunny tower :D

Woohoo! You must post pics of how they like the toys! If Lottie is like other girls, she will like to 'gossip' lol :p

Did you order the corner litter boxes? We have those, they're great! I imagine would take up quite a bit of room though in a hutch....

Good luck with the bunny castle! :)

I send Cardboard Guy a bit of an angry email, and heard back tonight, they're shipping my order tomorrow, and they're going to personalise the Look Out with my bunnies' names on for free lol, so I can't wait until it arrives! I did kind of suggest that I'm a member of a very large forum and he'd get terrible reviews unless I heard something from him.... :biggrin2::p I will now reserve judgement until they arrive!

My rabbits would love that toy! Loki would probably play with it for hours. You guys get a lot of toys over there that I wish we could get.

i feel SO much better now that i know Liffy isn't the only bunny that doesn't play with her toys. i was wondering what the problem was and thought i was buying the wrong toys...lol.....and i'm like you i still spend money of the toys anyway =)

My bunnies won't play with toys either. Sometimes I can get Keiran toss a few, but that's all. I've probably spent more money on toys than I should have.

That tree is cool!

I know what you guys mean, mine haven't/doesn't really play with his either. He will toss his when they are in his way to lay down, but other than, not really.:? So, you are not alone.;)

That sisal tree looks so cool! And what are these chewable magazines you speak of? They sound adorable! My boys like toys fairly well and will toss balls around, but only play with other toys a little bit. Today I felt like splurging on them and managed to fill my Busy Bunny shopping cart with over $100 of stuff for them- some of that was Oxbow Bunny Basics food (this is the first time I've been able to buy it, I'm so excited!) and two kinds of hay, but they're also each getting an extra large grass mat a small straw mat, and a Heart Bunny Gift Box:

Then Rory's getting a jumbo willow ball because he really liked his last one (Sky has one but doesn't really chew it so he doesn't get one), Sky's getting a willow chew ring, and I ordered TWO of the basket value packs:

as well as a set of 3 peeled trays: http://store.nexternal.com/shared/S...2=290748238&CategoryID=18&Target=products.asp

The big toy is the large peeled willow tent tunnel for them to play with outside in their play yard:

I thought I also ordered papaya tablets, but I just realized I didn't :( Anyway, I ordered the ton of baskets and the mats because I know they'll love chewing them up and spend lots of time doing it. Hopefully they'll have fun with their gift boxes, too!

Oh and I politely request pictures of Archie and Lottie playing with their new toys!

Lotties favourite toys are:

  • Hay racks that she can pull off the wire and chuck down the stairs
  • Foodbowls that she can tip up and throw down the stairs
  • Soft things she can pee on
  • Corner litter pans she can pull out into the middle of the hutch and then pee in the corner
But her favourite toy of all has to be...

Newspaper I lay down in the bottom of her carrier that she can dig at, ruck up in one corner, chew, then pee on the vets counter :D

Archie has had the tree for the night, and has pulled off a small amount of the sisal round the bottom. I'd say that's a success!

Today is set aside for watching films and making cardboard castles.

Mine will be no way near as good as yours Jen but it will be free! And I might try painting some names on it and stuff with food colouring!

lol....Fran i almost peed my pants reading your last post! i think maybe i'll just be content to have a no fun bunny that doesn't play too much...lol...actually after i posted about liffy not playing with toys too much she went wild last night. it was 11pm and i was still trying to get her to settle down and in to her bed. she chewed up 2 toilet paper rolls (she's never touched them before other than a sniff here and there) she chewed apart her critter log, tossed a hay ball around and after i changed the carefresh in her litter pans she dumped them. she likes to scruffle in one then leap in the air b/c the bedding goes everywhere. maybe to her it looks like snow flying since the carefresh in white. who knows but figures the day i label her as a no fun bun she tears everything apart...lol....silly rabbit =)

LOL! I have a couple of bunnies I am trying to litter train that will alwasy pull the litterpan out of the pee corner. I have taken to wiring them into the rabbit's corner of choice, so they have to use it or choose another corner! :DAlthough Charity has been so stubborn that she actually has three litterpans right now......
