I just want to add the for me 30.00 a month for the data plan is worth it.

I NEVER get lost because I have MAPS. Feel like eating or going somewhere hey just type where i wanna go in the Map and i'm on my way.

I have access to my email all day. I sell Avon. I can check on the Avon site for something someone wants right then. That has been unmeasurable.

On the way somewhere and wish u could listen to a certain song but don't have it? Buy it on iTunes and dl it right to your phone. (i do this ALOT)

I could go on and on why I think the ONLY cellphone anyone should have is and iPhone.

I text about 2600+ messages a month. MUHAHAHA

I love my iPhone and would get lost all the time without it. I have been using mine as a computer for almost a month now and I don't mind it. There are times when I can't download something or watch something because the iPhone doesn't support it but most of the time I can do just about anything.

PS I'm using it to type this :p

Jealous!

I have the 3G iPhone but not the newer version. I LOVE mine though! It's such a lifesaver. Never get lost, never get stuck without an address or something you forgot to look up before you left the house.... I even have an App on mine that will record programs on my Sky+ box when I'm not at home!

I still have my iPod classic, which holds all of my music, but my iPhone has quite a bit on it. Love the iTunes on it as well- whilst lying in bed feeling poorly earlier I cheered myself up by buying some Snow Patrol b-sides and listening to them in bed! :)

When I was in hospital I would have been SO bored if it wasn't for my phone to read RO, check Facebook and Twitter etc. Steve loves that I have one now because it keeps me quiet on long car journeys :p

How does the data work over there then? Because over here we pay a certain amount for text/phonecalls, and the unlimited internet is included in that... We don't have to pay for it at all... My plan is £40 a month I think...

Here, you pay a rate for your regular phone service, then for the iPhone, you're required to also pay a separate charge for the data (internet) plan. Text messages are not included in either of those, so that's an additional charge.

Example, my plan is one fee for my phone service, plus an additional $10 for the second line. Then, we each have to pay another $5 for text messages. (We've only got 200 per month for that price.) If we wanted, we could get the internet on our regular phones, for an extra charge. Anyone who has iPhone is required to pay for the internet. The iPhone plan is $30/month. As far as I know, AT&T is still the only service offering the iPhone, so there's no shopping around.
