Thanks for the welcome
My avitar is a Sugar Glider
We have a new development!! The breeder asked since my kids and I are all three wanting to show would we also like a pair of dutch tort bunnies for the kids. This will really work out because we have plenty of room and it means I get Livingston ALL TO MYSELF!!!! Which I'm not ashamed to say thrills me to no end
The kids are getting a couple of very nice dutch bunnies to have for 4-H and showing. The male has a small fault called a hook on his left side of his face, but otherwise is perfect we are told.
So we are going from 0 to 3 bunnies on August 4th
Dad/Hubby get the joy of paying for us to show and carting us around to shows... I can not describe how very excited he is about the role he'll be playing in all of this! :elephant:
On another note our darling Squirt was a white bunny with tan spots. I don't know what breed she was. There is a picture of her on the rainbow bridge page of our website at
http://www.tnrgliders.com if anyone wants to see her. She was a good bunny and I am horrified that two accidents caused her death (my daughter tripping and dropping her and the dog that killed her broke it's tie out) I had not intended to get a new bunny so soon, I didn't want to seem like we were relacing her. I was trying to start my search early thinking I'd need to get on a waiting list or something, but it worked out that something was available much sooner. I hope no one thinks badly of us that we are happy to be getting new bunnies, because we do still miss our Squirt. My daughter named her Squirt because as a baby she pee'd on her the first time she ever picked her up
