Hello everyone!
I'm Lizanne and I'm new to the RabbitsOnline Forum.
Familiar with owning a rabbit as I've had one when I was 15 but sadly I had to give her up to a new owner (couldn't really afford to take care of her) whom she is still with (very healthy and has her own living space). I'm from NYC and my first rabbit whom I'm speaking of "Michie" now lives in Pennsylvania with a family friend.
I now own a 4 month old bunny (who is a kit from Michie's litter!). My family friend told me Michie had babies with their male rabbit and that they wanted to give one to me if I were able to take care of her and since I now have a steady job and the time to play and give her the affection and attention she brought her over to my house and I completely fell in love. She told me since I couldn't have Michie there with me I now had a little part of her.
My bun's name is Tallulah. I named her after a character from the movie Bugsy Malone if any of you are familiar with it (it's one of my favorites). She's very demanding at times and she WILL tell me when she's hungry by throwing her food dish all over the place. She loves to lay herself out on my bed and sometimes will just crawl onto my lap while I'm doing homework.
Well, that's my introduction haha. I was also wondering if some of you can help me figure out her breed. I haven't taken her to the vet yet but I will soon when I can schedule an appointment because they're always booked and the times are just not so flexible.
