Hi,
I'm a new rabbit owner. I rescued three. Two lops and one unknown breed.
Lops are Buddie and Ginger, siblings. They are very shy, but getting used to me. I can pet them under the right circumstances and Ginger follows me around the cage when I clean.

Chester is very friendly and loves spending time in the house with me and the cats. He's a bit of a bad boy. He gets into everything and chews cords and walls. I've lost two MAC chargers to him. My own fault.

They all live in the garage in separate cages. Very large. I actually built a room in the garage with plastic chicken wire, but Chester chewed his way out. Buddie and Ginger wouldn't leave even if I left the door open.

Well, that covers the highlights.

Thanks
Deanna

Welcome to RO! It's a wonderful place to meet other bunny people.

That's funny, my mini lop is like that. She won't leave my bedroom even when the door is open. She somehow knows what is hers and will only chew that. I suggest NIC pannels for bun proofing, which I had to do for my others. Plastic is fair game to be demolished.

We need pictures of your cuties as soon as possible ;)

NIC is neat idea cubes. They are basically wire shelves that come in foot square pieces that you can use to make fencing with zip ties. I get mine at Target, but you can get different brands at differnt places.

As far as pictures, the easiest is to get a photobucket account (free) and copy the image link. There are other instructions in the "about" section of the forum as well.

Here is a demo of both :)

:hello welcome to the forum!! There are many bunny lovers and bunny experts here, you'll find a lot of useful info and people to share your bunny experiences with! I personally have recently found out how to use the gallery of RO and I like it better than photobucket. You upload the pics through the menu bar (clicking on "menu" then "upload photos". After you've done it, click on the one you want to use. It will get bigger. Right-click and copy the image address. Having copied this address, you can post it anywhere between the tags
- the choice is up to you!

I hope you post pics of your baby bunnies soon, and that you enjoy RO!

Hello Deanna, Welcome to RO. Me and my wife are new slaves too, staring the explore the world of bunnies. And looks like we are the only people here from the middle east lmao :)

Its been 3 days since we brought Rex and Ruby home, Yday we Rex started exploring the world outside the hutch. He was extremely delighted. But when we see her pooping outside the hutch or biting on wires, we take him back and try to tell him not to do so; not sure if he understood (wink). After a while we open the doors again. So lets see how he copes up with that :biggrin2::pinkelepht::biggrin:
