Hi all
I recently registered and am excited for you to meet Trixie, my 1 year old female lionhead bunny. She is rescued from a breeder who sold her to a pet store where she sat for a month because nobody bought her because she has a disability. Her back leg sticks out to the side, making her clumsier and slower, but she loves her new home inhabited by a dog, fish, hamsters and chickens! :)

Check out my blog for pictures!

Oh my Trixie is so cute.

Is she an indoor or outdoor Bunny?

That was so good of you to adobt her, what a lucky bunny.

Susan:)

for right now she is a indoor bunny, but this week we are bring delivered a free outdoor rabbit hutch and a chain link dog kennel so she can be outside in the summer.

Just be careful with the flies it they are around her and also if it's really hot try to give her something to stay cool. Like frozen water bottles otr even large ceramic tiles that you have cooled in the fridge.

All of mine (indoor bunnies) have ceramic tiles in their cages and lay on them all the time.

How do you make life easier for a bun with a disability? I'm taking in a wee bun at the beginning of June that has a similar issue except it's the front leg. Any tips?

Awesome blog! I bookmarked it. :)
