I used to be on here as "Hoppin' Herd of Hares", but then I couldn't remember my password and such, so I had to create a new account. I never posted too much, but I did post some. I raise Mini Lops in southern California. Just thought I'd pop in a say who I am again .

Welcome. If you don't mind my asking, where in Southern California? Except for 6 weeks this summer... I live in the San Fernando Valley in LA.

We are near Lancaster area . . .which is about 1 hour or so north of the SF Valley .

I've been raising ML's since early 2003. We started with a bunch that we were given from someone who had them going crazy in her backyard. We then found out what breed we had, found out they were ML's. I started looking at getting nice stock from good breeders and what colors I wanted to work with and such. I had a few other breeds in the beginning, but the ML's I have always liked and they are the only ones we have now. We had a few Holland Lops, some Red & White New Zealands, Californians, Mini Rex and a Dutch - not all at the same time, but in the first year of having rabbits.

In addition to my rabbits, I take some online college classes through UC Berkeley and do alot of medical research in the area of nutrition and down syndrome and all involved in that area - www.gotdownsyndrome.net - .
