I just got a bunny today! He's a real cutie and I haven't named him yet. I'm starting to try and bond with him. On his first venture into his new home, he wasn't the least bit scared. I sat on the floor with him and let him come to me. He's pretty brave. After entertaining my family and I for an hour, he went off to get some sleep in his new hidey house. (Bunny naps!)

After an hour or so, he ventured out. I happened to see him wandering out so I went over to sit down and watch him in his litterbox. He wasn't very comfortable and after munching on hay for a minute or two, ran back to his hidey house as quickly as possible.

Is he scared of me? He seemed so content before his nap. :(

Thank you. :) he managed to get out of his cage yesterday. He's active alllllllll night. I have to preoccupy him with toys or he'll munch noisily on the wire. I think it's the way I approach him though. If I walk over all tall he probably thinks I'm gonna snatch him. He comes up to investigate me and ask for treats but he doesn't let me pet him. ):

Thank you all!

He doesn't get spooked when I walk over anymore. He let me pet him today. He knocked over his water crock though and chewed on the wood around the windows. He's a naughty bunny! I had to go out and buy him a water bottle instead. I don't think he knows how to use the crock haha. I need to further bunny proof. :)

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.
