Hello everyone! I’m a new bunny owner. Chouchi will have been with us for a week on monday, he’s a little mixed breed with some dwarf in him. Can anyone help me figure out whether I’m being overtly worried or if he’s doing ok?
He had a little trouble settling down and we got worried as he wasn’t eating or pooping. so we took him to the vet, who noticed he was a bit constipated, assuming for stress, and gave us some medicine to administrate every eight hours to encourage the digestive system, as well as some syringe food to be given as a supplement. We did that and he got much better really quickly, he even came out of his cage yesterday! however today he’s been a little lethargic and not as playful and grazing as he was yesterday, and I’m worried he’s not really well.. is it normal for new bunnies to behave like that and have some better days than others? and if so how do I encourage him to get his exercise? Im sorry if I’m just overtly concerned. I never bonded with a creature so quickly.
