New bunnies possible have "snuffles"

So I purchased four new bunnies last Saturday from a breeder, three Satins and one Silver Fox. Two does and Two bucks, when i purchased them they didnt have any runny noses are runny eyes, their teeth looked good and they were not sneezing. I got them home and after having them two days i noticed that one of the satin does has started to sneeze every once and awhile and she looks like she has a slight runny nose which looked clear and was only visible in the evenings. I had them housed near my chickens so I thought that the dust created by the chickens may have been causing them irritation so i moved them last night, the doe seems to be sneezing less but now she sneezed a small goober out of her nose that had some white color to it. So I am pretty much freaking out that all the bunnies have "snuffles" does anyone have any opinions? besides the sneezing every once in awhile and the small goober, they all are eating and drinking and playing and being normal little bunnies.

Too early to tell. Admire your observations, this is what you need to be a good bunny parent. But all your bunnies have gone through a big change. I know it doesn't seem that way, but to the bunnies it is a big change. And it could just be the dust.

Keep observing your bunnies. Definitely keep checking for sneezes and discharge. If it should get worse, definitely call a Vet. But allow them to time to settle in. Bunnies do get a bit stressed when moved to a new home.

You might contact the breeder also, just to let them know. See if they might've noticed any rabbits with the same symptoms that yours may have been exposed to. Might be allergies, but until you know you should keep her away from the others.

Thank you both for your replies, all seems good with the babies this morning but still keeping a very diligent eye on them, it's raining today so all the dust and pollen in the air is low and I haven't heard a sneeze from the little ones. Also how do you guys feel about pine shavings for litter boxes, have you ever ha any problems with bunnies and pine shavings? I know cedar shavings are a big no no due to the oils and toxicity if the chew on the cedar shavings, but never thought pine shaving would be bad and if I remember I used pine shavings with my mini lops 7 years ago and they did ok. But all and all everyone seems to be doing good and I hope it continues because I am so attached to them already.

Hi!

I went through the same thing with my doe last May when I brought her home from the breeder. She started sneezing which wouldn't go away so I brought her to my vet because I didn't want my buck getting sick and of course i thought the worse! Snuffles!! She was put on Baytril for 2 weeks.
After two weeks she wasent getting any better so we did another course of the baytril. During the second course she had a
"small goober". After that it went away so I finished the Baytril and all was good. No sneezing. Now, its May again, and guess what?
She's sneezing again... No discharge yet. I'm thinking my little girl has allergies!! I'm keeping an eye on her and if I do see any discharge I'm going to have it swabbed and sent to the lab for tests to determine if indeed she has anything. I'm lucky enought to work for a bunny vet though

Things such as get some of the same bedding from the breeder (not just the same type but see if they'll part with some), some of the same feed they are using, and what many folks don't think about is the water. Is it well or municipal?
