Ya a week, I don't think I'll use an oven mit, since she will be feeding them herself and they will be with her all the time. I'll wait and see if anyother breeders think the stuff it ok or not.

Emily, I guess I didn't really say anything, well, what's there to say :DI didn't have any questions or anything till now.

Personally I would not use that fluffy stuff, to me, it would be too much risk, but maybe someone more knowledgable might be able to give you their opinion because it will be worth more than mine.

not sure if you have any but vetbed layed at the bottom of the nest would be warm for the babies to lie on.

is the safe bed like cotton or anything like that? only asking because when i studied animal care at college we learned that bedding like that can tangle the pet up and can sometimes cause injury if it happens :?

wishing Princess a safe birth if their is anybabies :D

Vetbed is available in some Irish pet stores. They sell it from a big roll by length

Grace, I found the perfect nesting material for you in our garden - Lint! Coco had torn big chunks of fur out of Lint's bum through the bars of the run. But Lint kept putting her butt near the bars the daft thing. There was quite a lot and it was supersoft and snow white. I was tempted to put it into an envelope and post it to you:D
Pure Lint! - much better than tumple dryer fluff:biggrin2:

Hehe poor Lint! :DI'd love an envelope full of fur lol! The fluffy stuff can be pulled apart easily so I could have it so the bunners wouldn't get tangled in it, or another thing I was thinking of was maybe lining the outside of the nest with it when she has done making the nest, just to kind of insulate it? I don't want to do anything that will put the babies at risk though, so unless anyone can tell me it's safe I won't get it.

p.s. Sabine I'm getting the envelope ready with the RO money, should get it Monday or Tuesday!
