need help fast...one baby wont eat

i need some help one of the baby rabbits wont oris not getting milk when it eats. i brought the mom and the baby insideand tryed to get the baby to eat while i was holding the mom but itlooked like it wasn't getting any milk. this one is the only one thatis really small. and it is so cute and i don't want it to die. so canany one help me. what can i do to save the little one? need help fast.
 
Well, I'm no expert, but I guess you're stuck with me.

I don't understand why only one bunny isn't getting milk if the others are.

Can you get some Kitten Milk Replacer? (KMR). Most peoplehere recommend that. Other milk might be bad for them. (I'mstill checking that out).

And Nutrical, a supplement that comes in a tubeI don't think will hurt, either.

Just be VERY VERY careful to let the bunny drink the milk at her ownspeed and not breath any in, otherwise you can get liquid in therepiratory system, which can be very dangerous.


 
i think i found out what the problem was. thebaby had some fur traped on its mouth i took it off and i think it wasable to feed. the fur was from its mom. i hope that thats what it was
 
Bottle feeding rabbits is verydifficult. In fact, you really need to use a syringe, not abottle. If you need to do this, use KMR, but make sure toconsult with a vet first. This method often results in fluidgetting into the lungs and causing lots of problems.
