Since I adopted my bun in December, I've been using a hay manger. However, after a very short period of time (days), I notice that there is a large pile of hay under her cage (cage is 5" off ground & half is wire bottom). I feel like it's such a waste for all that hay. Do any of you have ideas for keeping the hay available in her hutch, but not allowing it to fall through the wire bottom of the cage?

I hang my hay over their litterbox, solves everything for me :)

What kind of idea will stop the hay from falling through the wire floor? even if you put the hay in any other container it will still fall down when she tries to eat it or just plays around.
The only solution would be having a flat bottom, which is better for her feet anyway

I think I'll probably just move the hay to the part of the hutch that has the wooden floor or above the litter box (also wooden floor). Thanks!
