I have 3 kind of rabbits.. One type is the "lazy and lovely" who lets to turn him/herself always in every positions: very easy to cut nails!
Another type is the ones, who are nervous about being held. But they still let me to handle him/her to cut nails.
And then are the ones, who DON'T WANT to be helded at all! And I really mean it, it is not easy to teach them to like it. They just don't.. So, then I just need to be strong and handle them even they don't want.
Sometimes I take a towel etc. and cover their eyes, so they calm a little!
I always cut nails alone, but at the first I needed to ask my friend to do it. Then I learned myself.
And when we are at home, I don't keep nails too short. It can be painful to bunny, when walking.
But then when we're going to show, I have to cut little more, that it will be okay when judge judges..!
