I forgot to mention this Robin, but what type of bedding/litter are you using? We were using woody pet for Max, and I think that made his breathing/runny nose worse. I switched him back to Yesterdays News bc it has less dust and it helped a lot. I wonder if changing the bedding/litter might help?

He's on Aspen.

He's starting to get really mad about his shots. It's been 13 days now (10 days with us and 3 with the vet) and I bought a 10 day vial today. I feel so bad for him One of us has to hold him against the floor, couch, or bed to keep his head down because he's trying so hard to bite us... while the other gives the shot. I feel so guilty and big softy hubby feels guilty too.

I hope this is over soon.

Where are you giving him the shots. We give our Penny shots now for close to 3 months with no problems. We do it in the back of the neck. Our little girl seems to be ok with it,and she hates to be even held. Let me know.

What we do is pull on the skin and insert the needle at about the angle it shows in the picture. I hope this helps. You can actualy feel on the other side if you went too far. I hope this helps.

I just talked to my vet and Livingston will be getting neutered Monday evening. He is staying overnight and we'll pick him up Tuesday evening.
