I brought home a new bunny last night, Ralphie. He hasn't drank any water from his water bowl... the last owner provided me with his supplies but when I got home notice no hook to hang the water bottle so now I can't hang it up.... my husband has the car at school so I can't leave until he gets back. What can I use to jerry rig his water bottle up or how can I get him to know to drink out of a bowl.

I have three rabbits and two of them barely drink any water. The third drinks almost a full bowl a day so each rabbit is different as to how much they drink. I wouldn't worry at this point since he is still getting used to his new surroundings. Just give him a fresh bowl of water a couple of times a day.

I just use a rubber band to hang bottles (when I use them). You can loop it around the cage bar, then put the bigger end around the bottle. I find that it keeps the bottle tighter than the wire hanger, so it drips less.
If you don't have a rubber band, a pipe cleaner or other wire can work too. Even zip ties (tie it around the cage and leave an opening for the bottle to slip in and out) or tape can work.

You can use paperclips to hold it if worse comes to worse. You can also pick up another at Petco or Petsmart or order one online from Amazon, yes just holders
and see how he does. In the shelter I go to and give donations to they used knitted pieces of knitting yarn to tie the bottle on the side of the cage. Zip ties
also work wonders, when you get the original holders, you can just cut the zip tie off. I would keep a pack of zip ties on hand if I were you for emergencies
with his water bottle in the future and pick up an additional water bottle or two just to have on hand just in case...

Thank you I was going to add rubber bands and forgot and hit send. Yes, you are right and the pipe cleaners also works!

thanks for all the helpful tips... I'll keep them in mind when I replace the zipties I found!
