Have you tried petting her or seeing if you can get her moving? Has she been pooping and peeing? Drinking water and eating?

I did reach in and pet her in the nesting box. No response from her. Her litter box is very clean where all other mornings is has been heavely used - poop & pee. Not this morning. I offered her treats and she will not eat them. Doesn't look like she ate any of her pellets last night either. She has not drank any water this morning (I have been out here with her for 6 hours now).

When we went in the house at 4:30 yesterday afternnon, she was fine. I gave her a little treat before leaving and she enjoyed it.

Now what do I do?

Thanks for any advise.

Reading the blogs section I wonder if my thread should me moved to blogs. If so, I do I contact a moderator to move it?
Yes, only moderators or admins can edit or move threads. On the other hand, no need to contact one. It's done.

8 AM Tuesday, Aug 28, 2012- The vet just called- Bugsy passed away last night.

I killed her because of my ignorance about not using kitty litter. I don't handle losses very well, and this is worse because it's my fault.

I will miss all the wonderful people here as well as Bugsy.

I am so sorry about Bugsy.

Hopefully after you have had time to mourn you will welcome another rabbit into your heart. There are so many that need a loving home like yours. Bugsy knew love and that is what is important. :cry4:

You did you abolute best. You loved her and looked after her. Now it is time to grieve and then let her go. We all make mistakes, part of the learning process. You need to honour her memory by taking another little bunny into your home and heart when you are ready.
