Oh, I didn't mean the kits would die from the stress from being separated from mom. I meant that they can get stressed out if just one is removed by itself from mom and the siblings. If it is left with either mom (like the smallest that is left longer with mom) or with its siblings, it will be fine. The buns that have problems are the ones that are removed from both mom and the siblings and are totally out on their own at such a young age. You find this with inexperienced people that sell a bunny fresh from it's mom at 5 or 6 weeks. It's much too young as the stree alone can cause it to stop eating.

ohh ... Actually thats wat i did for my little bun Buffy becos he is paralysed. I had to seperate him n put him in a smaller area so that he doesnt move a lot. So he is away from mommy and siblings. Only when its meal time, I will put him together and they will all eat in one bowl.

Now that his left leg is stronger, he can already climb out of his little corner which worries me if i put him together with his siblings.

He fell somehow. I was not hone that time. It was my little sister playing with the bunnies. So I dont know exactly how it all happen. All i know was my little sister crying when i got home n she said Buffy fell n he cant walk properly. Its really sad. But seeing Buffy recovering gives some hope that he will be back running around again soon.

Yeah ... gosh. I wish I could keep all my buns. I already have a friend who wants to have smokey and coco. Besides... his bunny is the father of my little buns. So I'm quite ok with it.
