So Muppet is again not feeling well. I was thinking more wool block and stasis and am waiting for Jason to come home so we can talk about the next move. But I just checked her little box and there were two piles of fresh poop. One pile was fairly normal but on the small side. The other was a wet badly formed pile of poops. At first I thought it was cecals but it was the wrong color and did not smell. Plus I never see Muppet cecals. So it was soft poops. Not true diarrhea but still very wet and stuck together. :sigh: Muppets stomach problems seem to be never ending. Any advice? She is also lively and alert and eating still...I have no idea which poop pile came first though.

The only thing I can think of is to wait for the next poop & see what they're like.

Any new veggie, or one that you think might be a problem?

Of course I;m also thinking "What did Fraggles do to her?" but I don't believe in voodoo.

Maybe they were just funky cecals? Or, since you've never seen them before, maybe the funky cecals are actually Muppet's normals? If that made any sense at all. Regardless, I hope it's nothing serious!

Ya know it might have been cecals but it did not have the cecal smell. The poops have been normal except there rather small. She is going to get some fresh pineapple tomorrow. I think she has some wool in her tummy.

You can do it! Just put your mind to it!

Oh my goodness, poor Miss Muppet, again not feeling well.

Have you tried pumpkin, mine really love pumpkin.

I think you gotta pick that Miss Muppet up, turn her over and give her lots of Tummy Rubbies. You can ship her to me and I'll do it for you. i have lots of experience doing rubbies and cleaning dirty little bums. (Shhh doh't tell Daisy Mae I said that).

Hope she's ok.

Is it just me, or do the lionheads have more issues with wool block than the angoras? Is the texture of the hair the same as a regular bun just longer? Perhaps it falls out when they lick themselves? Houdini's wool is much finer and fluffier. It doesn't really fall out when he grooms himself, just if I'm really brushing with the rake. I wonder if that is why we don't have the issue? He also loves hay and I'm sure that helps.

Push the hay and water along with the pineapple juice. Keep her moving as well, that will help get things moving and keep them moving. Pumpkin will help also in this case. Anything with lots of fiber in it that is safe for the rabbit, and make sure she stays hydrated.

I have two lion heads, but haven't had any issues. I've had a couple pearls, but have jumped on the grooming part of it really well. I groom every other day just because I'm nervous about wool block. Plus I double their hay intake. I want to give papaya, but they aren't old enough yet. So I battle it with hay and grooming. I guess some bunnies are prone to it than others. Like angoras.

Z-Tribe wishes Miss Muppet the best and hoping she feels better real soon.

The poops have been better but not perfect. She is off to the groomer this morning. She is also going to get her poops looked at by the bunny lady. She loves canned pumpkin but it does not seem to prevent the wool block. I am going to ask today about oat hay. I think they hay I bought is to dusty and she is being picky.
