I can't remember if this has been done before or not. If so let me know! I thought it would be fun to have a post about people's favorite movies, one's you really like, or touched your heart in some way. New or old, doesn't matter.

I'm currently stuck on sick leave due to having some tendon damage from an antibiotic (boo!), so I'm watching lots of movies and hanging out in bed! :p:(

My favorites are numerous since I'm a movie addict. But amongst the top are:

Anne of green gables

The black stallion

Ladies in lavender

The secret of roan inish

Fairy tale: a true story

Far and away

Pride and prejudice (the old one, but new is good too)

Sense and sensibility

A far off place

Funny girl

Knocked up

Bridges of madison county

Notting hill

The proposal

The snow walker

Twilight Saga movies
Harry Potter movies
Emma(the one with Gwyneth Paltrow[sp?])
all the Jannette Oke movies
Chronicles of Narnia movies
Penelope
.....that's all I can think of at the moment :p

These are my favs that I can watch over and over.

Dirty Dancing!!!! I've seen it like 50 times!
Princess Bride
Silence of the Lambs
Evil dead series & Army of Darkness
Little Mermaid
Clueless
Nightmare before Christmas(just saw this in 3D,so awesome!)

I thought I was the only one who watched the Janette Oke movies... Although I have to say I only watched because I read the "Love Comes Softly" series... And then of course my "girl" was in the 1st two as Marty. :p

What is funny is when they have boxed sets of the other movies in the series (not the 1st two) and they have Katherine Heigl on the front cover... She was in the first two only... And only in the second one a very tiny bit. That to me is hilarious.

I love movies so much that it rubbed off on my son, and he decided to make it his life ambition to become a movie director. (No, seriously! He studied film in college and is currently working in the tv industry (working his way up to movies, I guess.))

I have a list of favorite movies longer than both arms and both legs all put together, but will only list some here (and I know I'll forget some of my most favorite). btw, my taste can be rather eclectic...

Hachiko - A Dogs Story. I think that will be my favourite movie forever! I was literally bawling my eyes out. But I loved it, it did the Akita Inu proud and really gave a feel for how special they are as a breed.
